CASE STUDIES

Some sharings are rather short and don’t seem to say much.  Yet everyone’s experience is rare - no matter how complicated or brief.  This one is very brief.  Still, it needs to be heard.  It’s from Debbie.

Thank you for your response to my question about the Absolute.  I was a hospice nurse for 21 years and saw some amazing things.  It was actually a spiritual experience if you were open to it.  I have a couple of your books and gave one of them to a family member who was struggling with the pending loss of her loved one.  She told me how much it helped her…..In the process of researching how the bible was written and how Christian theology evolved, I lost the ability to believe in it.  But I still try to follow the ethical teachings of the Jewish Jesus.  I think of God as a form of infinite consciousness that is pure love and I think this consciousness is a part of me and I am a part of it.  I am open to reincarnation and have read about the higher dimensions often referred to as the astral realms.  But I know that is not the end of the journey.  I am now 75 and most of this life is behind me.  Since I have not had the experiences you have, I only have beliefs not direct knowledge.  Jurgen Ziewe has written a book called Vistas of Infinity.  He speaks of uniting with universal consciousness as going home and ponders if what we consider to be God may be the entry level to an infinite realm of pure consciousness.  Might there be stillness beyond stillness, God Beyond God, reality beyond reality.  I cannot imagine there would ever be a point at which you reach a sign post that says IT ALL ENDS HERE.  I know I am not my body but cannot imagine being pure consciousness so I am just reaching out to understand as much as I can before departure time.  It’s a lot to get your head around. . . . Thank you in all that you do.  Debbie.
